About
Sophia is a compassionate psychologist with a special interest in perinatal mental health, child, and adolescent psychology. She is certified by the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) in applied skills for perinatal mental health assessment and care, and supports individuals navigating the emotional challenges that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. Her approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and client-centred, drawing on evidence-based therapies including ACT, CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and Process-Based Therapy to support wellbeing, resilience, and meaningful change.
Sophia is also well placed to support parents through the complexities of family and parenting life. She brings over 15 years of experience in education, including teaching roles in Thailand, Vietnam, Sydney, and Melbourne, alongside five years practising psychology within South Coast school settings. Her work with parents, children, and adolescents is neuro-affirming, strengths-based, and collaborative.
Outside of work, Sophia enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the South Coast landscape.
